Wiredu has highly commended the European Union [EU] for their initiative to establish a Migration Consultation Center [MCC] at Sunyani in the Brong Ahafo Region. The Director of Ghana Immigration Service, (GIS), COP (Dr.) Peter A. Wiredu, has disclosed that the Service is in the final stage of drafting the first ever Service Regulations, a Training Curriculum and Syllabus as well as a Human Resource Policy.
Other policies such as Transport Policy, Accommodation Policy, and Funeral Policy are at the completion stages whilst GIS establishment, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Deployment Plan are already being implemented. Read More....
